Background Information

Inspired by several close family members who work in and cherish the health field, I realized my passion for others at an early age. After graduating from a medical-oriented high school, I began my college journey at Texas A&M University in College Station, intending to pursue counseling services. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology; however, shortly after graduation I discovered my love for Speech-Language Pathology. I was accepted into a Leveling Program at Texas State University in San Marcos, where I completed the requirements for graduate school, and ultimately earned my Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Texas State.

Most of my career has been in the private practice setting, but I have also worked in the public school setting and continue to stay connected with the local school district. In the summer of 2025, a family I know asked me if I had ever considered seeing clients privately on my own and this had in fact been a dream of mine. So, I took a leap of faith and here I am! I am beyond grateful to see my dreams come to fruition!

Personal Life

My husband and I are proud parents of two wonderful daughters. When I'm not working, I cherish spending quality time with family and friends. I love playing board games, diving into a good book,  enjoying movies, and going on hikes. My family is actively involved in our church, where I help lead the Middle School youth ministries. I also volunteer at my daughters' schools whenever possible, my favorite being a Literacy Partner where I get to read with students each week. While my husband and I might have our playful rivalry—he's a Longhorns fan and I'm an Aggie—we always unite to cheer for Austin FC and have a blast at the games!
